vahrga consulting was founded by peter varga, who made a successful career in hr operations teams both in internal and outsourced environments

Peter's journey as an HR Operations Professional​

Peter is an experienced international HR Operations Leader with a proven track record of 19 years in HR, Payroll and Compensation&Benefit Operations and management experience of 15 years. Since 2023 he is working as professional consultant gaining valuable additional insights into how initiatives are planned and initiated, working with various clients on their HR Transformations and focusing on professional methodologies for HR Operations services.

Peter gained his experience in the following roles:
  • Convergys/Northgate Arinso (NGA): establishing his career as SME in HR Admin, Payroll and projects and first management assignments at an outsourcing service provider
  • Citibank: various management roles in HR Admin, Comp&Ben, Payroll, Reengineering and Transition management
  • Warner Bros Discovery: EMEA HR Services lead managing 25 people, supporting 20 countries, 70 entities
  • Strada: Sr HR Transformation Consulting Manager supporting Fortune 500 companies in their various initiatives and developing professional methodologies for both Advisory and Operations teams
  • VaHRga CONSULTING: Founder and Lead Consultant

A few example of projects designed, managed, participated​

  • Team management up to 30 team members (HR Admin, Comp&Ben, Payroll)
  • Creation of Global Taxonomies for full HRSS scope and preparing migration program and project approach to establish consistent services across EMEA regardless of in country HRSS presence
  • Merger of two legacy HRSS teams with entirely different Operating Model in parallel with extending Workday to full company
  • Designed and executed a Global program and project approach to realign Benefit and Payroll solutions and processes based on changes driven by Benefit and Payroll outsourcing to the same service provider in two separate programs
  • Multiple Global Workday implementations
  • Created migration methodology and training to Benefits SMEs how to migrate 200+ benefits from 30 countries. Later developed this further to a system agnostic full methodology covering transition, operation and governance tools for offline and online benefit administration
  • Stabilization of HRSS team after rapid migration of complex scope services for 20 countries, 70 entities
  • Transition of UK benefit administration to HRSS team, supporting 4000 employees on Benify platform
